Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a showcase of exceptional care and to support surgical innovation at Suburban Hospital.
About the Event
As Suburban Hospital’s biggest fundraiser of the year, SHOWCASE 2016 will attract at least 350 guests to enjoy a trendy South Beach-style party complete with VIP reception, hand-crafted cocktails, dinner, live auction and captivating entertainment. The event will be co-chaired by Jim and Marte Coleman and Chris & Julie Futrovsky Mottler. Both couples have strong ties throughout the local community and look forward to creating a spectacular event that will encourage broad regional support for surgical innovation at Suburban Hospital.
Proceeds from SHOWCASE 2016 will help assure that the most innovative surgical technology, research and treatment options are available in the hospital’s newly constructed operating suites – a key component of the ongoing comprehensive campus enhancement project. Advanced surgical technology, including intraoperative imaging and robotics, will directly benefit thousands of patients from throughout the greater Washington, DC region and beyond. The new state-of-the-art operating rooms will allow advanced treatment options and improve clinical care and outcomes for open heart surgery cases as well as complex head, neck and trauma surgeries, and numerous others.
The SHOWCASE concept began in 2010 as a biennial fundraiser to replace the standard hospital ballroom gala. It is designed to highlight exceptional care and life-saving innovation at Suburban Hospital. Since its inception, Showcase has raised more than $1 Million to support the NIH Heart Center at Suburban Hospital, Neurosciences and Trauma services.
